PECUNIAGROUP

From the President

You get me. And I answer for the work.

Edna I. Pecunia Muñoz · Founder and President, PECUNIA GROUP, INC.

I founded PECUNIA GROUP, INC. in 2011 with a plain conviction: an organization that administers public funds, federal awards included, needs far more than a financial services vendor. It needs a professional who understands its responsibilities, knows the demands it faces, and can stand beside it with knowledge, clarity and accountability.

From the beginning, we have worked alongside nonprofit organizations on the preparation and analysis of financial information, the evaluation of their financial management systems, the strengthening of their administrative and financial processes, and the support of their teams through audit and compliance processes.

That experience has taught us a lesson I consider fundamental:

An organization can do excellent work and still face difficulties if it lacks the systems, controls and documentation needed to prove it.

Responsible administration of funds does not end when the expense is made. It requires being able to explain, support and document every decision clearly and consistently.

It was precisely out of that reality that, in 2018, we developed FTE Tracker. It was not born simply as a technology product. It was born from a need we observed directly in the organizations we served: a tool that would make it easier to document, control and track how staff time and personnel costs are distributed.

And we decided to do something we consider essential: not only to build the tool, but to use it and stand behind it ourselves.

FTE Tracker remains part of our own operation because we believe a solution must answer the real needs of organizations, be tested in practice, and evolve alongside them.

That same philosophy guides every service we offer.

At PECUNIA GROUP we understand that when an organization hires us, it is not simply delegating a task. It is entrusting us with financial information, internal processes and, very often, responsibilities that directly affect its ability to meet its obligations to funders, government agencies, auditors and its own Board of Directors.

We do not take that trust for granted. We take it on as a responsibility.

That is why my name stands behind PECUNIA GROUP.

I am convinced that the quality of a professional firm is shown not only by what it says it knows how to do, but by the consistency with which it does its work, the transparency with which it communicates its findings, and the accountability with which it responds when entrusted with a task.

Our philosophy is simple:

Trust is built.
Experience is demonstrated.
And results must be verifiable.

After more than a decade working alongside nonprofit organizations, I still believe our greatest value lies not only in the services we offer, but in the ability to turn financial and technical knowledge into better processes, greater control and greater confidence for the organizations we serve.

That is the commitment of PECUNIA GROUP.
And that is the standard that carries my name.
